The Inspiration
"My feet pranced to the beat of a lullaby as I carefully avoided treading on the petals that bloomed below. As I gazed, I imagined myself as a mere spec on a canvas. The artist gave himself up to each stroke, constructing the sky with a flat, thick brush and allowing the small grooves of the landscape to take the lead. The orchids however, were established with such precision that he painted his hands in flowers of soft pink and white."
